Jyoti Joey Singh-Byrd is a distinguished figure in the realms of business, leadership & philanthropy, has carved a remarkable path through a life that spans continents & encompasses diverse roles. Born & raised in South Africa, Jyoti’s journey is a testament to the power of determination, education and a heart devoted to making a positive impact.
Her educational journey began with a foundation in Travel & Tourism studies at Cambridge University (ICESA). Her thirst for knowledge led her to pursue a course in Business Economics & Bible Studies at The College for Advanced Christian Education which broadened her horizons beyond traditional academic boundaries.
Her professional voyage embarked in the field of sales, where she first collaborated with a Singapore—based company operating in SA. Later Jyoti’s dedication & expertise saw her contribute significantly to Pharmaline. A prominent competitor in the industry. Jyoti’s trajectory of growth continued as she transitioned to roles with telecom giants Vodacom & T-systems, here she excelled as a marketing coordinator, skillfully liaising with franchises on a national scale.
Later Jyoti’s passion for humanitarian aid work led to a role as DMPA for the Southern African Zone for the International Federation of the Red Cross as well as a National Program Coordinator for Visions in Action. Her exceptional skills in proposal writing, project management & fostering enduring relationships with donors & partners garnered her accolades & established her a driving force in this industry collaborating with the UN further solidified her reputation as a leader in this domain.
Jyoti’s journey then continued at Roland DGA where her prowess translated into consistently meeting & exceeding substantial sales targets. All while nurturing global partnerships and providing international training expertise. In 2016 her move to the banking industry as a wealth management administrator demonstrated her financial acumen & ability to contribute across diverse domains.
Currently Jyoti serves as The President/COO of Generation Construction Group since 2019, Jyoti’s leadership has undoubtedly been a driving force behind the company’s continued success.
Beyond her professional endeavors, Jyoti finds her greatest joy in being married to Travis & raising her two kids.
Travis Byrd, Vice President/VP-Sales
Travis Byrd is a dynamic entrepreneur & business leader with a passion for general contracting projects specializing in roofing & construction. As the founder & vice-president of Generation Construction Group USA, he has spearheaded the company’s growth since its inception in 2015, transforming it into a trusted name in the industry.
Travis earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the prestigious WP Carey School of Business at Arizona State University, laying a strong foundation for his business acumen. His journey in the corporate world began as a Southwest commodities broker, where he quickly rose to prominence & was recognized as a top sales representative.
Drawing from his experience, Travis brought his expertise to Vanguard Group, making a significant impact in the financial sector. Later he played a pivotal role as an M&A deal originator at Dinan & Company showcasing his strategic prowess in the world of mergers & acquisitions.
Despite his busy professional life, Travis values family deeply. He resides in Prosper, Texas with his wife Jyoti & their 2 wonderful children. Travis dedication to both his family & his career exemplifies his commitment to excellence in every facet of is life.
